Discrepancy Files, June 1998
The FCC requires broadcasters to produce a daily program log on all their broadcasts. If they were to find any variations to the broadcast schedule, they are to produce a document called the Discrepancy Report. The original log is updated with that information to produce an 'As-Run Log.' The FCC no longer requires broadcasters to maintain a hard copy of the 'As-Run Log,' as long as they have an electronic version.
