Barthelme's photographic materials consist of black-and-white prints in various sizes, including 8 x 10, 11 x 14, and 16 x 20; and black-and-white negatives in 4 x 5, 2 ¼ x 3 ¼, and 35 mm. Most of the color images are 2 ¼ x 3 ¼ glass-mount transparencies and 35mm color slides. Many of the pictures of Barthelme's projects are known to be the work of Dallas photographer Ulric Meisel, but unless indicated otherwise, Barthelme is presumed to be the photographer on all of the items in this...
