Dating from 1945-2019 with a bulk from the 2000s, this series includes papers, plaques, American flags, and medals given to Sherrill for his contributions to the University of Houston, military, state and federal governments, entrepreneurship, and in recognition of his 90th birthday. The series also includes a football signed by Bill Yoeman, Head Coach for the UH football team from 1962-1986.

This series includes a variety of undated papers and those dating from 1947-1952, covering topics from various periods of Sherrill’s life including: veterans affairs, teaching, entrepreneurship, and inspirational quotes and selections. This series also includes a copy of Entrepreneurism: Exploring Entrepreneurship form a Business Process Perspective (2006) which Sherrill co-authored.

This series includes undated photographs and those dating from 1926-2016, spanning most of Sherrill’s life. In addition to individual images, this series includes four University of Houston yearbooks (The Houstonian, 1947-1950), information regarding veteran affair events, and a scrapbook compiled by students from the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship.
