Scope and Contents This collection consists of approximately 1 linear foot of photographs, posters, fliers, and magazines that document Houston’s underground music scene in the 80s and nineties. The bulk of the collection is from the early 90s. Mike Burnett took photographs of many local bands, some of which were included in local magazines. Burnett managed bands, and much of the collection consists of photographs of one of these bands, Spunk, as well as photographs of the band’s front man, musician and artist...
