Scope and Contents Caption on front, attached card: *Albert Harold Rooks, was born in Colton, Washington on December 29, 1891. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy and was commissioned Ensign on June 5, 1914. Captain Rooks assumed command of the USS Houston, flagship of the Asiatic Fleet, on August 28, 1941.
