Inscription on back: "Long Beach, Calif - Christmas party for underprivileged children hosted by USS Houston. Capt Guy Baker, USS C.O. at the right. The piano uncrated was given to the crew of the ship by USS Houston Committee and generous citizens who donated to the fund. Handsome scroll marks the occasion also, presented by the USS Houston Comittee, 1936."
