Scope and Contents This collection documents Abbey Simon’s career as a concert pianist but also contains a smaller amount of material related to his role as a professor in the Moore’s School of Music at the University of Houston. Materials in the collection date from the late 1940s through approximately 2013, with a bulk of the materials from the 1960s-1990s.
