Fernando Casas Papers
This collection documents Casas’s career and life from 1946 to 2017, with the bulk of the materials focused in the 1980s and 1990s. Materials include copies of publications, original manuscripts, original sketches, exhibit pamphlets and catalogs, exhibit reviews, correspondence, original artworks, and posters. The collection contains materials in both English and Spanish.
Mel Casas Papers
The papers of painter and educator Mel Casas measure 1.0 linear feet and date from 1963 to 1998. The collection is comprised of biographical materials that include files on the art collective Con Safo, correspondence regarding business and exhibitions, writings by Casas on Chicano art and by others, printed materials, and photographic materials containing photographs and slides of Casas and others, his artwork, and an exhibition.
Coalition of Women's Art Organizations Records
Subject files concerning the interests and activities of the Coalition of Women's Art Organizations. Files include correspondence; members' resumes; address lists; business records; statistical reports; drafts for lectures; minutes from meetings; 3 untranscribed cassette tape recordings of meetings; and printed material including clippings, newsletters, press releases, programs, and brochures.

This collection contains materials related to organizational structure of the Houston Area Fiber Artists (HAFA), such as meeting minutes, financial records, secretarial records, membership lists, and more. There is also extensive photographic documentation of various art pieces created by HAFA members, as well as a number of VHS tapes and DVDs showcasing this material.

The Houston Blacklight & Poster Company Posters include original posters produced by the Houston-based company in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The collection continues to grow as additional posters become available.
Posters remain copyrighted, and copyright may be held by Houston Blacklight & Poster Company or individual artists.
