Auxiliary of the Center for Hearing and Speech Records
This collection contains materials related to the establishment of the Auxiliary fundraising board of the Houston Center for Hearing and Speech, formerly known as the Houston School for Deaf Children. The Ruth Pennybacker Collection consists of the teaching aids she used in class, photocopies of plays, news clippings, and programs.The materials in the collection date from 1967 to 1981 with a bulk dating from the 1970s. Included in the collection is a scrapbook crafted in 1967 by her students, colleagues, and friends as a tribute to Ruth Pennybacker, as well as items relating to the Play Reader Groups, news clippings, correspondence, and plays used as part of the classroom curriculum.
Marcella Perry Papers
This collection contains materials related to Marcella Perry's work as a banker and politician between 1945 and 1985. The contents are broken up into two series: News, Events, and Correspondence; and Photos, Scanned Documents, and Scrapbooks. The sequencing is chronological and maintains the original structure created by Marcella and her family as closely as possible.

Judge Ruby Kless Sondock Scrapbook and Photographs
Housed in 2 boxes, this two-series collection primarily documents the year of Judge Sondock's appointment to the Texas Supreme Court as an Associate Justice in 1982. Most notably, this collection includes a 25" by 17", 96-page scrapbook consisting of clippings, photographs, invitations, programs, correspondence, and congratulatory notes regarding her 1982 appointment. Additionally, this collection contains childhood photographs of Judge Sondock from the 1930s.
Nina Vance Alley Theatre Papers
The Nina Vance Alley Theatre Papers document Nina Vance's career developing and directing the Alley Theatre and also contains personal items from her life. The collection is divided into three series: Personal Papers, Correspondence, and Alley Theatre Papers. The collection includes correspondence, production materials, scripts, programs, sound recordings, clippings, speeches, scrapbooks, date books, and miscellaneous items such as receipts and ephemera.
