The Joe C. Aker Architecture Photographic Records consist of the photographic archives of Joe C. Aker, a noted professional photographer who specializes in the photography of architecture and interiors. The records include film negatives, transparencies, and prints.

The Valentin Gertsman Papers and Photographs dates from 1922 to 2018. The collection consists of photographic prints, slides, correspondence, sketches, exhibit posters, recorded television appearances, and manuscripts/mock-ups of Gertsman’s published and non-published books that document architectural development in Houston, Texas. Also included in this collection are over three hundred signed and numbered artist proofs (photographs).

Content Description

The Maud Lipscomb Photographs contains 5 photographic portfolios and a bound index, documenting her photographic work of Houston urban landscapes, Transco Tower, Sam Houston Park, and historic buildings and churches of Galveston. Most of the photos were taken during the mid 1980s. Also included within the collection are negatives and contact sheets to the accompanying photos.
