Houston Counseling Association Records
The Houston Counseling Association records include meeting notes, member directories, budget notes, newsletters, workshop materials, bylaws, photographs, and conference materials beginning with the group’s founding in 1952 by University of Houston professor Richard O. Jonas. The collection is arranged chronologically from 1952 through 2017. The collection also includes a series of materials related to the group’s 50-year anniversary in 2002.

Houston Heights is situated northwest of downtown Houston, Texas. This Collection contains records from the Houston Abstract Company, the Houston Title Guaranty Company, the Stewart Title Company, and the Southern Abstract and Title Company. This collection consists of 10 abstracts of title and deed for the property in the Heights district, in the city of Houston and Harris County, filed from 1896 to 1941.

Robert D. Jacobus Research Notes
The Robert D. Jacobus Research Notes collection consists of 12 legal pads of notes used for research for his book Houston Cougars in the 1960s: Death Threats, the Veer Offense, and the Game of the Century. The notebooks are arranged by Jacobus's original numbering system and primarily contain notes from interviews with notable figures in UH sports conducted between 2007 and 2013.
