Miscellaneous Literary Manuscripts and Correspondence
The collection is a result of integrating several items from Manuscripts A-Z into one artificial collection to improve organization and facilitate greater access. The collection contains correspondence, manuscripts, notes, and autographs belonging to various American and British literary figures from the 19th and 20th century (with one exception from 1634). The collection is arranged alphabetically by literary figure or, where author names are not available, title of piece.

Bert L. Long, Jr. Papers
6 scrapbooks; correspondence; clippings; writings; subject files on the International Sculpture Conference, a project called 20/20, Artists in Action, and the Houston Contemporary Artists and Models Ball, 1979; pencil sketches for an ice sculpture; clippings of cooking columns written by Long; copies of "Houston ArtScene" magazine and other printed materials.
Looking At Art Records
The Looking At Art Records contain 33 program binders from April 5, 1989 – May 4, 2022. Each program year represented in the binders start from September and end in July of the following year. Also contained within the collection are 48 Looking At Art Travel Binders from 1994-2019, as well as a set of 10 Bayou Books from the Contemporary Arts Museum featuring works of Houston Artists.

W. D. Lowther Civil War Letters
The Lowther collection consists of 12 letters from Confederate soldier W. D. Lowther to his fiancee, Phronie or Fronie Autry, in Texas during the United States Civil War. Dated from June 1863 through May 1864, these handwritten letters are all accompanied by typed transcriptions, and a few folders contain handwritten transcripts as well.

Jermayne MacAgy exhibition files
