Deeds and tax receipts make up a signififcant portion of the collection. Counties represented include Angelina, Cherokee, Tyler, Nacogdoches, Brazoria, Fort Bend, Galveston, and Harris. Documents from the Republic of Texas are also included.

Scope and Contents This collection consists of 149 photographs, 99 Polaroids, and 50 black-and-white silver gelatin prints, created between 1975 and 1985. Some of the photos are formal portraits, others are candid shots, and a few are still lifes. The collection contains drama, dance, opera, and symphony programs from performances given in North America and Europe. The programs are arranged chronologically from 1947 to 2001 and are housed in sixty-three binders. The Professor Joseph S. Werlin Papers contain newspaper and magazine articles relating to international issues of interest to Dr. Werlin. There is also a limited amount of personal material, including correspondence and photographs, in the collection.
