The Robert D. Jacobus Research Notes collection consists of 12 legal pads of notes used for research for his book, "Houston Cougars in the 1960s: Death Threats, the Veer Offense, and the Game of the Century." The notebooks are arranged by Jacobus's original numbering system and primarily contain notes from interviews with notable figures in UH sports conducted between 2007 and 2013.
