The Sandi Seltzer Bryant Papers contain photographs, photo cds, correspondence, news clippings, newspapers, publicity and press release materials, artist files, reception announcements, artist catalogs, artist portfolios and scrapbooks, and reviews of her works.

Preliminary Scope and Contents Note

The personal papers of life partners Pat Gustavson, an architect and pediatric hematologist, and Mignon Weisinger, an artist, in Houston and Galveston. The papers document their life partnership, early and family lives, education, careers, and community.

The Dorothy Hood Papers are a collection of the Art Museum of South Texas and the University of Houston Libraries.

The personal papers of artist Dorothy Hood include correspondence, written works including a memoir and poetry, scrapbooks, catalogs and other publicity, photographs, financial documents, artifacts, and other materials.

Scope and Contents This collection includes the records, written works, collected writings, and photographs that document the development of the Houston Gorilla Girls, an anonymnous women’s art collective that protested sexism and racism in the art world from the 1987 to the late nineties. Scope and Contents The papers for the Houston Women's Caucus for Art (HWCA) span from its founding in 1978 to 2004. Some items, however, pre-date this period. The largest portion of the records is devoted to photos and to art exhibitions sponsored by the Caucus. The next largest portion includes newsletters, grant applications and fundraising, financial records, and conferences. Scope and Contents The eleven series of Lynn Randolph Papers are housed in three boxes and contain documentation of her exemplary training and career in the visual fine arts including exhibits, shows, reviews, individual art projects, and collaborations. The documentation of her longtime feminist and human rights activism in Houston and abroad is also an important part of the collection just as it is her life. The papers of the Women in Visual and Literary Arts (WIVLA) consist of meeting minutes, fliers about events, and newsletters. All material dates from 1994 to 2011. The collection arrived in the archives in excellent order, arranged neatly into newsletters and meeting minutes, which were filed and arranged chronologically. The collection has been broken into five series: Administration, Publications, Events, Multimedia, and Various Materials.
