The set of videocassettes within the Office of Special Events collection consists of 485 videotapes (411 U-matic and 74 VHS) dated from 1973 to 2004, with the bulk of the items from the mid-to-late 1980s. The majority of the videotapes are recordings of UH-organized events, such as commencements, graduations, and other celebrations. The collection contains “B-Roll” (raw footage, often for the same event from different camera angles) tapes as well as finished productions.
