Biographical / Historical
Alice Evans Pratt was born on January 17, 1915 to Joseph W. Evans and Emily Scott Evans. Pratt was a lifetime Houston resident and longtime friend of the University of Houston, particularly of the University of Houston Libraries and Houston Public Media. Along with financial support, the Evans Pratt family contributed the Israel Shreve Revolutionary War Letters to UH Libraries' Special Collections. Pratt died on June 10, 2016.
