This collection, dated approximately 1940s-2010s, was created from alumni donations of materials that document UH history and was originally housed at the Sam P. Douglass Library at the UH Alumni Center. The approximately 6 linear feet of photographs, programs, serials, costumes, textiles, and ephemera that document UH alumni events, Frontier Fiesta, homecoming, sports, reunions, commencement, and other UH events. Does not include administrative records of the Alumni Association.

Historical Information

“Since 1940, the University of Houston Alumni Association [UHAA] has served and supported the University of Houston, its … alumni, its friends, and the community it calls home. [UHAA’s] goal is enabling and encouraging lifelong alumni relationships with the University of Houston.
