E. Virginia Barnett Postcards Collection
This collection contains eighty-eight vintage postcards collected by E. Virginia Barnett. The collection includes materials from Arkansas, California, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia, Oregon, Washington, and Washington D.C. Some items are booklets containing several views of a particular event or locale. The collection is organized by state, and then further subdivided by city.

E. Virginia Barnett served as executive director of the University of Houston Foundation until 1987. The University of Houston Foundation raises funds for and promotes the university. There is a UH undergraduate scholarship in her name.
