This collection contains photographic prints of various people and places in Houston primarily during the 1930s and 1940s, taken by photographers Bob and Marvin Bailey. Many of the photographs were shown in an exhibition titled "Houston: A Photographic Portrait, 1930s-1940s," which took place at Detering Book Gallery, owned and operated by Herman E. Detering III, during FotoFest 1992.
