This series also contains papers related to Milner's professional life, including Guggenheim Fellowship documents.

This collection contains five series: Correspondence, Captain Albert H. Rooks Honors, Research Files, Photographs, and Memorabilia. Material includes correspondence, awards, published articles, newspapers, clippings, reports, pamphlets and other Cruiser Houston related material. The Correspondence and Research Files series are divided into topical sub-series. Thereafter, the collection is arranged chronologically within each series.

Franklin Roosevelt Visit, 1933-1980
The bulk of this series relates to Franklin Roosevelt's visit to Houston in 1936. Included are documents relating to planning the various events, such as the parade and visit to the San Jacinto Battlefield. There is some correspondence with various Democratic politicians, including Marvin McIntyre, Alfred E. Smith, Jr. and Henry Breckinridge. These materials were labeled by Bernrieder as belonging with the Roosevelt visit material.

This series consists of seven boxes of materials related to Allred’s personal life. Materials include genealogical information, correspondence, and financial records, with the bulk being correspondence. This series is divided into three sub-series: Biographical and Genealogical Records, Correspondence, and Personal and Business Finances.

Perales was very active in state, national and international politics and Civil Rights initiatives, as well as with local politics in San Antonio. He participated actively in varied committees and political action associations throughout his life. This series contains items dated from 1928 – 1940 and many undated items.
