Scope and Contents From the Collection: Vitae folders are arranged alphabetically, according to the last name of the individual. Each card contains information (education, date of birth, brief employment history, and sometimes a photograph) for people employed by the University of Houston. Some of the folders also contain newspaper clippings associated with that individual. For example, the folders relating to Paul Chu contain numerous newspaper articles associated to his research in the area of superconductor material....

Scope and Contents

The Dr. Nicolás Kanellos Theater Collection consists of 9 boxes of manuscripts, printed materials, photographs, and publications related to Hispanic theater dating from 1972 to 2015. The collection includes materials collected by Dr. Kanellos as well as documentation of his 1985 exhibit "Two Centuries of Hispanic Theatre in the United States."

Photographs of award ceremonies, the board of regents, and extracurricular activities are arranged alphabetically by last name. Oversize Board of Regents photographs are housed in Box 80-83.

Scope and Contents From the Sub-Series:

The "Discover UH" series is a number of U-matic tapes which appear to contain lectures from University of Houston faculty about a variety of subjects, received as a part of the acquisition from the Office of Development.
