The James H. Branard, Jr. Port of Houston Collection contains photographs primarily of ships and workers on the Long Reach docks on the Houston Ship Channel, collected by Branard, Jr., who was the former Vice President of Gulf Atlantic Warehouse Co., and was in charge of operations at Gulf Atlantic's Long Reach division.
