Summary
Deja Riley [DR], age 20, is a Hurricane Katrina evacuee from New Orleans, LA Seventh Ward. DR moved to New Orleans East when she was 10 years old. DR attended Abramson Senior High School in New Orleans East. DR did not evacuate from the city for Hurricane Katrina but rather she went to a hospital in Uptown where she had an experience of a lifetime. Anne Williams [AW], age 56, is a Hurricane evacuee from New Orleans Mid City. AW came from a household of eight siblings and grew up in the 6th ward. AW held down employment at Tulane Medical center and Mercy hospital during her time in New Orleans. AW did not evacuate from her home during Hurricane Katrina.
