Summary
Henry Blount Jr. [HB], age 18, was born and raised in New Orleans [NO]. He was 16 going on 17 when the storm hit. His mother lived in Slidell, Louisiana and his father lived in NO East in Castle Manor Subdivision. He evacuated to Baton Rouge [BR] with family and two days later he left for Corpus Christi. He stayed in Corpus Christi for two to three weeks before returning to Slidell and NO East.

Jada Moore [JAM], age 27, is a single parent who lived in Gretna, Louisiana (located on the West Bank) now living in Houston because of Hurricane Katrina. JAM is the mother of a 10-year-old son named Joshua Moore JM and was a cocktail waitress at Boomtown Casino. JAM and her son evacuated to Baton Rouge by family before Katrina struck.
